This year I have really been getting into makeup more than I've used to in the past. The reason being the fact that I watch more you-tubers, beauty bloggers and read reviews of products before buying. I also have found some websites that are affordable for a budget shopper (but sometimes I do cheat and follow my lust :P ) like me. Here comes the products I have been using frequently during this year and have been enjoying to use.
Foundation: L'Oreal True Match Foundation in Golden Natural.
This is a drugstore foundation. The price is 144,95 kr. in Matas. This is a nice foundation that gives a medium coverage, but is builtable. It leave your face with a natural appearance which I quite like.
Concealer: Sephora Collection Lasting and Perfecting Corrector in 02.
It costed 100 kr. in Sephora. I am really impressed with this concealer because it matches my skin perfectly under the eyes and on my blemishes. This has become a product I cannot live without.
Brow pencil: Maybilline Eye Studio Master shape in Deep Brown.
The pencil costs around 60 kr. in Matas. What I like about this pencil is I don't have to press hard on my brows for the color to show. It goes on very smooth and creamy. Maybe a bit too easy because I have to sharpen it often. I think that is the only downside to this product. On the other half of the pencil there is a very useful brush for you to comb your brows. I really love that end. I usually use the pencil when I don't have time in the morning.
Brows: Another product I use for my brows is the M. A. C. Eyeshadow in Brun.
It cost 135 kr. in M. A. C. , Magasin. It is a dark brown shade that defines my brows the way I want with an angled brush.
Eyeliner: Maybelline Glam Eyes Eyeliner (I think this product is discontinued?)
It was a gift from my mum so I am not sure about the price. But I really love this eyeliner for more than one thing. Firstly the tip of the brush is very small, so I am able to make a fine line. Secondly it dries quite fast so I don't have to wait a long time before I can blink and see again. Thirdly I like the shape of the holder. I can make my line with a steady hand. Some eyeliners are formed in a way that I find it difficult to hold which makes me nervous and then everything goes wrong.
Eyecreme: Matas De Stribede Plejende Øjencreme.
Another gift from my mum. I freak'in love this thing. This eye creme helps with dry eyes and doesn't burn when it hits your eyes. Lovelovelove it! I bring this everywhere I go because you never know when you might need it. I have really been thankful for having this in my bag.
Eye primer: Urban Decay Primer Potion.
This came with the Naked Palette from the same brand. This one does wonders to my eyes. My eyes really have a tendency to crease, but this miracle stops it from happening.
Eye base: NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk.
It's bought for $4.99 at Cherry culture. This is a relatively new product that I haven't used throughout the whole year, but I must say that I like this product a lot. Then I have this underneath an eyeshadow the color comes out more vibrant and stays on for a longer time.
Eyeshadows: Naked 2 by Urban Decay
This is a palette worldwide known, so I am not going in to much detail. But I have been using this palette whenever I had to go out. I find the colors very convenient to put on the lid when I want a pop of glittery colors and not worry too much about making depth and stuff. I do use the Naked palette also. It depends on which one I grape out of the door.
Mascara: L'Oreal False Lash Telescopique Mascara Waterproof in Black.
I bought this at Nicehair.dk for 89,95 kr. This is my so far favorite mascara. It can HOLD my curls! It lengthen my lashes also, but the only downside to this, which I really don't like because it is suppose to be waterproof, is that it smudges under me eyes whenever I put them on the bottom lashes and sometimes also when I put them in the upper lashes.
Eyelash Curler: Shiseido
It costed 199 kr. in Matas. There is nothing much to say. I have been using this whenever I have to put mascara on and it just works perfectly.
Bronzer: NYX blush in Taupe
Bought this one from Cherry Culture as well for $ 4.50. This is a cool toned color and is the perfect color for contouring under the cheekbones.
Blush: M. A. C. in Dainty
There is no doubt that the one blush I have been loving throughout this year has been Dainty. The shade is just right. Not too bright nor too doll. I love the way it looks on me. It gives me a bit of color and life on days I feel tired and sleepy.
Lip balm: Cherry Culture Lip balm with Bubble Gum scent.
It costs $ 0.99 on Cherry Culture, but you can get on for free then you buy for over $ 20. I love the scent. It really makes my mouth waters. And the balm is so soft to apply.
Nude lipstick: Rimmel London Lipstick in 240 Undress.
This lipstick is my lips, but better. I bought it in Matas a few years ago so I don't remember the price.
Red lipstick: GOSH Velvet Touch Lipstick in 60 Lambada.
I really like this lipsticks for giving me more than one look, well... two looks. I can make a bright red lip or a soft lip. That is all I need.
