Originally I went there to see the Riri collection, but nothing really fancied my tickle (Okay, the Ruby woo was sold out). Even though, that didn't worked out I have been wanting to try out some of MAC's products for a while. So I went there and got the Fix+ and the Matte Créme Matifiante.
Lately I have noticed that my skin have been looking cakey after doing my makeup which is the worst scenario E.V.E.R. I have a feeling that it is because I have been using one pertically foundation that just builds up and goes right into my pores - before I didn't know I even had pores that big! So I hope Fix+ can help me with that problem and regain the moisture in my face again. Also, I have been seeing it can be use with pigments too to enhance the pigmentation. I have to see, if that works. It costed 155 kr.
My skin can get very oily throughout the day especially in the T-zone as most peoples skin do. So I have been wanting to try something that can mattify my skin before I put my foundation on and keep my skin looking mat. It costed 160 kr.

Inspired by chalk hair coloring
I find this method cool. If you don't want to commit dying your hair a certain color you here have the option of washing the color out the next time you take a shower. When there was a time you found the dip dye trend fascinating or wanting to take the ombre to another (color) level. You can now do so with chalks. Look at how beautifully it can be colored. It seems so much fun. You have the choice to do an ombre effect, the whole head or just strands of hair. The method is quite simple.
You take a piece of hair, if your hair is dark it might help wetten it. If you hair is light DON'T - cause it will be very difficult to remove the stain from your hair and that's a shame if you have dried your hair to achieve the level of blondness. You color that strand of hair with the chalk and set it by either curling it or straighten it. Repeat until your desired look.
Have fun with it!

Getting in to the False Lashes
I am not an expert. I am in the process of accepting false lashes in my life. It is definitely an adjusting thing. Before I found lashes a bit too dramatic. Mainly because I had no clue how to set them on my own eyelashes and let them stick on till the end of an evening. I was like "Ehm.. How do you do that?!?!?". Now, after wearing one a whole night I am not that scared anymore and I am determined to try some more. I mean you gotta have some drama in your life - rather you like it or not, you know you want it *wink*
Excuse the quality of the pictures. I am starting small with some false lashes from eBay.

Cocktails and Sushi
I had dinner in the big town, Copenhagen, with my parents and it was a lot of fun. The place is called Dahl&Dahl and we were met with champagne and snacks. The drinks kept coming and sushi was served. There was a lot to choose from and I went severals time to refill.
Then came some cocktails which tasted delicious. I had a great time. After eating and drinking we went for a walk in Nyhavn. At that spot there was full of people. They were eating and drinking as well and just having a good time.

Boyfriend Styled Jeans
I am not that tall, honestly I am very short - so some trends just don't work on me even if I wanted them to. But I have found the middle way! Find the right item that finds YOUR bodyshape then it will work. These jeans are some old ones from my parents closet. Since we are small people, the length of the jeans is not a problem. The jeans look super awesome with a plain white tee and the laced ballerinas. You can even wear some high heels and a blazer to glam it up if you like.

New haircut
So today I went for it - my hair had just been growing and growing till I finally took the step and went to the hairdresser. She even had time as soon as I walked in, so I did it right then. Honestly, I really like it and the stylist was fast at the job. I am positively pleased, plus a place that gives discount for students.. Well, you have to see if it is worth it - which I think it was! Since I am on a budget it is important to me that I don't go wild and be on. The service was 185 kr. in total. The place is near my collegium in Lyngby.
My hair is trimmed. It is still the same style, just with no breaking ends :p

My Shoe Addiction culminated
I haven't bought shoes for quite some time. I had been good. But...
Through June sales exploded everywhere and I was lucky to find the right coupon codes on the internet - so I went wild. It all started small with "I need some sandals for this Summer". So when I saw the laced ballerinas in H&M and they were the last pair and costed 120 kr. I hitted it. I love them. I really do. They just make every outfit girly, feminine and cute.
One day I had a bad day during my course and I was really in a bad mood. I joked about getting some shoes to cheer me up. But actually I did. I cheered myself up by buying two pairs of shoes from H&M (them again? Yes, they do make some lovely shoes sometimes). The shoes are ones I had tried on in the store before - but clever as I am I waited for them to go on sale and with a few codes I made it happen. One pair was nude slingback heels. The feel of them are very nice. The other pair was tan ballerinas with a bow and there is some foot cleavage going on. They have insurge. That takes a bit time to get use to. With the codes the price of the order for them both was 320 kr.
The last pair are some nude colored wedges with straps - now this was a splurge. It was on a day I already spend a ton of money so I acted like a rich lady and said: "Yes, I am taking them" - no hesitant in my voice. I did have some time during the shopping to think about it and got back to get them. They were originally 500 kr and was reduced to 250 kr.
So in one month, one, I managed to buy four pairs of shoes - My God!
You can definitely tell I am all about the nudes this summer!
And I think I am going to take a break from the shoe shopping..

Beauty Hauling
It is only an overview of what I got for the last month
- Maybelline Vivid Colorsensational in 910 Shocking Coral; a reddish coral lipstick - I think it's quite wearable
- Maybelline Vivid Colorsensational in 902 Fuchsia Flash; a electric hot pink - some say it is a dupe for MAC Candy Yum Yum? Well, this is a pink color I am able to pull off!
- Rimmel Lipstick in 700 Nude Delight; I ordered the Maybelline Vivid lipstick together but this one was mixed up with Fuchsia Flash, but I got to keep it - the color might be a bit too light on me tough
- Wet N Wild Fastdry Nail Color in Sage in the City; a light green color with a pearlescent to it - it is nice for summertimes
- Wet N Wild Fastdry Nail Color in Saved by the Blue; a deep blue color, also with a pearlescent to it
- Wet N Wild Coloricon Trio in On Cloud Nine; it contains a light blue, medium brown and a medium blue color - I mainly got it for the medium brown color, but the blue colors are very pigmented as the brand is known for
- bareMinerals Ready Palette in the Truth; Oh My God! A perfect all round palette. The colors are very beautiful - I can't wait to dry them out

A small trip to MAC
Most of the time when I go to MAC I know that I want to buy. I don't buy the newest products in the newest collection. Because I haven't had time to think if I is really something I need. My collection is growing in an exponential speed and I want to use the products I purchase instead of they look pretty in my vanity. Also I know how easy it is to fall into the trap of buying everything you think you need when you are standing there in the moment. You don't think clearly enough.
I don't have a highlighter and so I went to MAC to buy the highlighter Soft and Gentle. I had to see what the hype was all about and I have to admit it is a very nice highlighter. And so I bought it.
I am almost out of my Maybelline brow pencil in Dark Brown so I asked to see a brow pencil as well. I got one in Spike.
I haven't had a chance to play with them properly yet, but I am going to.
Have you tried them?

Gosh Velvet Touch Eye Liner 018 I Sea You
The eyeliner contains 1,2 grams/ 0.04 oz. of product.
It costs 79,95 kr. in Denmark normally.
I bought it on sale for 59,95 kr.
It says that it is waterproof.
The color of this is green with shimmer in it.
In my last post I wrote that I have been using the smudge brush a lot for smudging eyeliner out and I did that with this eyeliner as well. I find it is something very simply and easy to do.
The smudging technique is the perfect method for me to do because I find it hard for me to apply eyeshadow. I don't like the look of eyeshadow entirely on the lid and nothing else over the lid area. What I am doing here is color close around my eyes and it doesn't cover all my eyelids even though it looks that way. As a result you get a lighter appearance.
And you see the brush and the eyeliner. It is quite dark in the picture on the left but as you can see on the right picture, the color is very beautiful and it applies so creamy and smooth. You also see what it looks like when smudged.
When the eyeliner has set it doesn't smudge or anything.
I am not quite sure if it really is waterproof or not - it is easy to remove with a bit of water.

ELF Haul with Swatches
The two contour brushes I almost use for everything, for applying eyeshadow and for blending eyeshadow out. I really think they are quite handy. The smudge brush I have been using that brush a lot since I received it. Mainly I use it for blending eyeliner out so it looks a bit messy and you can't tell if it is and eyeshadow that I'm wearing or and eyeliner. I have been using colorful eyeliners for this trick. I think it is a great way to add some color to your eyes without it being too much color for daytime.
Magical Maroon
This is a shimmery reddish color and the one that is most pigmented out of the three. I personally prefer this color and it is very suitable for daytime. The loose eyeshadow can be applied both wet and dry.
Passionate Purple
This is a purple color, also with shimmer. The color payoff with this one when it is applied dry is not very pigmented at all. It is first when you apply it wet you see the beautiful color that it is.
Baked Brown
This is a dark brown color with heavy gold shimmer. It can be suitable for daytime when you just want a bit wash of color, but the most pigmentation is when you apply it wet.Swatches of magical maroon, passionate purple and baked brown.
without flash
and with flash
As you can see the beautiful color of them all show when they are applied wet. You can't see much of the eyeshadow then they are applied dry. If you want to try some of them out - use them wet!

Don't just throw out!!!
Quick tip
As we all know mascaras are one of the makeup items you buy more frequently than others. Usually when you've used a mascara up or it's tried out or else you throw it out. But, honestly, you don't just buy a mascara for the formula or for the packaging You also buy it for the wand. So why throw that one out too? Save the wand and use it for your brows and lashes, whatever you like. If you can you can cut the top of the brush out if it is too big for your liking - just as I have with the maybelline one (the yellow mascara). I like to keep the tops on the ones that can stand on their own.You can also try to clean the container, that holds the mascara inside, from mascara, but keep in mind what kind of mascara you bought. It takes time and patience to get all the mascara out. It can be very messy (referred to picture on the right). Consider if you want to keep the container or not. With the Waterproof mascara I kept the wand only.
I hope the tip was usefull. Have a nice day

New Make Up
I haven't bought much make up since I moved. The reason being I don't use that much makeup as I did before. But I needed to buy my favorite eyeliner again because I was about to run out of the one I had. And you know the story.. You always find something else you need when you are at the shop xD I couldn't help it.
* L'Oreal Paris 404 Scarlet Vamp
* Rimmel London Glam'eyes Professional Liquid Liner in black
* Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Nude
* L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Le Khôl in Rainforest Green
With the nude eyeliner I do notice my eyes to be more awake. I only put it on my waterline.
The green eyeliner however runs when I put it on my lash line. That's a bummer..
The nail polish is so chic! I really like the color. It is very classic and properly suits every skin color.

Out for Ice Cream
I haven't really been blogging lately. A lot has happened. I moved away from home and I had to adjust to my new life. I feel like I have change since I began college. I have mature and have other proprieties than before. But I don't want to abanned my blog. This week I am home with my family for this holiday. My dad and I went for ice cream today. The ice cream tasted so yummy! I picked Tuttie Fruttie Marsmellow and Pistacie.
In Denmark the weather is still winter. It is a snow land everywhere, cold and windy - the reason why I am sitting in the car. But the snow and ice are melting at the moment. Hopefully we are going to feel the long waiting spring.

DIY: Save Storage Space / How to Depot for Beginners
Spontaneously I depoted some of my cosmetics. And if you are someone like me who hasn't done it before (well.. technically I am not one of them anymore) then go on reading.
As a beginner I have been thinking of doing this for a while. I wanted to depot some lip products and a creme blush. I just wasn't in the mood to do something about it until now.
To start off you need
- your product you want to depot
- new container for your product
- some wooden toothpicks
- a microwave
- paper to clean off with
Conditioning Lip Balm
With the lip product I have are the ELF Conditioning Lip Balm SPF 15 in Natural and in Peaceful Pink. They have been taking a lot of my storage space.
What I did was I took the product out and into the new container with two wooden toothpicks. After that I put it in the microwave for about 1 min and 10 sec. Since I hadn't done it before I check all the time my product smelting (because I didn't want it to explode in front of my face xD ). After that I took it out, let it cool for a bit and then clean the edges with the paper. I did the same thing with the other.
New container with product and the old container with no product.
Blush
With the creme blush in Flirt also from the same brand I took the product out the same way as before. Then I pressed the product into the new container with some paper.
See how much space you save! :O
The result
That's it!
Hope you found it useful.
